Shoe polish brushes of natural hair
Almost all shoe brushes are made from natural hairs such as horsehair and wild boar hair, with the exception of the crepe brushes to brush suede. Brushes made of natural hair have scales to assure that maintenance products adhere well. When applying, for example, a shoe cream with a application brush, you notice that the product is dispensed very gradually. This way you can smooth and evenly coat your shoes with the care product.
Suede brushes
Suede brushes are specially developed for suede shoes. The brush removes superficial dirt and roughens the suede fiber. At Quality Shop you can choose between two types of brushes, namely a brush of nylon hair combined with brass thread and a crepe brush.
A suede brush for shoes is also suitable for the material called nubuck. Always be careful and brush on a small part of your suede shoe to test how powerful the brush roughs the suede. If you want to clean suede, we advise you to use a suede shampoo.
Application brushes
Application brushes are a small shoe brush that is used to apply maintenance products such as shoe cream or shoe wax. These brushes are available in different sizes, from a dipper for small surfaces to a standard size application brush with a round head.
Do not forget the edges
For real precision work, use a border brush to lubricate the edges of your shoes with shoe polish. A border brush is a somewhat long brush with a narrow head.
Shining brushes for shoes
Shining brushes are used to brush out the maintenance product. With the horsehair shoe brush from our collection, you can achieve an optimal shine. During the brushing the horsehair builds up heat, this causes the wax or shoe cream to shine. Horsehair shine brushes are available in different sizes from 12 cm up to 21 cm.
Shoe care brush set
With the shoe care brush set, you will have the basic necessities to apply and polish your shoes. Recommended is the Saphir shoe polish brush set, a five-piece set made of wild boar hair. Of course, you can also order all kinds of cleaning brushes separately.
